Above The Curve Neons & Holo - Part 2

Yesterday I posted Part 1 of the 2 part Above The Curve Neon collection with their gorgeous linear holo top coat - today we have part 2!

As with yesterdays swatches, all photos show 3 coats (unless noted) of polish over a naked nail + KB Shimmer 'Clearly On Top' top coat.

First up is Neon Yellow! This baby is NEON...like highlighter yellow! There is also a subtle blue/green shimmer. Of the whole set I think I applied a 4th coat for this one to try and smooth it out a bit more and gain a little more coverage. The color is gorgeous though and will definitely make a statement!

Note: I was a little bit bummed at first that the holo changed the color of the yellow so much but it ended up turning such a stunning shade of lime green! Woot!

And finally we have Neon Green! This baby is also the color of your favorite green highlighter. At the time of this post Neon Green was not available in their shop but if you ask nicely maybe they'll list it :)

OH EM GEE Its been awhile! Sorry for the absence! Life got really busy really quick - but I got my old job back after being unceremoniously fired by my lying, cheating, manipulative, poor excuse for a boss back in May. Basically hes gone now and I'm back (WOOT!) and I am kicking ass and taking names in a way I never have before. So THERE. *happy dance*

In other news, fall has definitely arrived here in north eastern Wisconsin and it is by far the most gorgeous time of year here. The mornings are cool and crisp, the afternoons get up to about 74 degrees, and the leaves have started to change. This is about the time that I typically start breaking out the darker, richers oranges, reds, golds etc. but I HAD to share this collection with ya'll anyway because summer was far too short this year. As with most collections I'll be splitting it up into 2 posts because this will be fairly picture heavy.

Above The Curves Neon Collection consists of 5 neon crellies (neon red, yellow, green, pink, orange) which pair beautifully with their 'Everyday is a Holo-day' linear holo top coat! They retail for $7.00 each, or $36 for all 5 neons + the holo topper. $1.00 from every polish sold is donated to Shriners Hospitals for Children so not only do you get a gorgeous polish you also get to help donate to charity! First up is Neon Pink! Neon pink is a vibrant bright pink with blue shimmer. Without a top coat it dries to a smooth, slightly matte, leathery looking finish. Its quite pretty! Evidently I forgot to edit a close up of this one. I'll try to remedy that in the near future.

Next up is Neon Red! Neon red is a bright, happy red orange with a subtle blue shimmer running through it.

Last up for part one is Neon Orange! This one ended up being my FAAAVORITE out of the bunch. It is the exact color of a deliciously ripe cantaloupe! I wore this baby for week! There is a subtle shimmer running through this one as well but it was hard to photograph properly without being in direct sun.
