I'm baaaaaack!

Confession: I purchased Ozotic 506 from one of the last Llarowe restocks at the beginning of the summer (maybe earlier than that even) and shes been sitting on my shelf EVER since. True story. I'd swatched her once on a nail wheel and stuck her back on the shelf. I know. I should be ashamed to call myself a polish addict. You can stone me to death now if you so desire.

Anyway, since the weather has gone from gorgeous to colder than a witches ti...(you know the saying), I figured it was an appropriate time to pull out the dark, mysterious lady #506 and give see what all the fuss is about...

....I feel like I've discovered Atlantis....Cheesus......Behold...

This is one coat of Ozotic 506 over 1.5 coats of W&W Black Creme

Uhmmmmmm yeah. Freaking gorgeous right!? When my fiance got home from work I dragged him outside and demanded he look at my nails, sure that his world would change just as mine had when I first gazed at it....

...but all he said was, "Its blue.....maybe purple...can we go inside now?"

Men.

Haha In other news, keep an eye out for my 200 FACEBOOK FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY coming up this weekend :) Love you guys!

TL;DR

Grand Opening!

HI GUYS!!!

I AM SO SORRY for the loooooong delay between posts! I have a good excuse though! My fiance and I have been busy launching our very own Etsy shop!

Back in April I asked my wonderful future hubs to make me a nail polish rack that would fit behind our bathroom door and hold as many of my polishes as possible and he rose to the challenge with fantastic results! I LOVE my rack. Friends came over and commented on how awesome it was. Facebook friends wanted to know where to get them, family members asked for racks that would hold everything from shot glasses to wades, and thus, our store was born! SO this post, while polish related, will be a bit of a self promo. Feel free to skip if you aren't interested (I promise, polish swatches and posts coming soon!)

Here's the intro!
"Fox Claws Racks were born from the desire to get my polish collection out of my helmers and shoe boxes and out in the open for everyone to see. My fiance rose to the challenge and decided to take it a step further and produce a variety of racks to suit any polish lovers needs. We currently have 3 sizes: The Kitten, The Fox, and "Big Mac's Rack". If you're looking for a specific size or color that we don't currently offer please contact me and we'll try to work something out.

You spend a lot of money on your polish collection; show it off! "

Designed and handcrafted from solid wood to showcase your polish collection in an attractive and functional manner, Fox Claws Polish Racks will maximize storage while not taking up a ton of space on your wall or table. There is a lip on the front to help ensure that your pretties don't slide off when placed against or properly fastened to the wall. We have tested our racks with a variety of polishes to make sure we are as universal as possible. You will have no problem fitting OPI, China Glaze, Zoya, Essie, Butter London, Sinful Colors, Cult Nails, most standard indies, and all standard bottled drug store brands, into this rack.

Our 'Kitten', 'Fox' and 'Mac' racks are all designed with expansion in mind. Your polish collection will inevitably grow so our racks can be stacked on top of one another to create a gorgeous, virtually seamless wall of polish.

The Kitten Rack! - Named after our baby girl, Roxy
Capacity: 52 large (CG/OPI), or 64 small (Zoya/Essie), or 96 rectangle (Butter London - bottles placed front to back).

Size: 20"x14.24"x3.5" - 2 shelves, double tiered (i.e. 2 rows of polish on each shelf)

Display: The Kitten Rack can be mounted on a wall or set on a sturdy desk or table. However, there is no lip on the back so polish can fall off if not placed against something. Comes ready to hang.

The Fox Rack! - Named after our fuzzy blonde princess, Foxy

Capacity: 78 large (CG/OPI), or 96 small (Zoya/Essie), or 144 rectangle (Butter London - bottles placed front to back).

Size: 20"x21"x3.5" - 3 shelves, double tiered (i.e. 2 rows of polish on each shelf)

Display: We absolutely recommend fastening your Foxy rack to your wall studs. If you are unable to do so, please use anchors. This rack is not made to be placed on a table or desk top unless properly secured to the wall. Comes ready to hang.

The BIG MAC Rack! - Named after our tubby tabby, Mac!

Capacity: 104 large (CG/OPI), or 128 small (Zoya/Essie), or 192 rectangle (Butter London - bottles placed front to back).

Size: 20"x27.75"x3.5" - 4 shelves, double tiered (i.e. 2 rows of polish on each shelf)

Display: We absolutely recommend fastening your Mac rack to your wall studs. If you are unable to do so, please use anchors (you may want an additional hole drilled in the center.) This rack is not made to be placed on a table or desk top unless properly secured to the wall. Comes ready to hang.
